Your creative guide and host

Hi, I’m Tanya — a passionate artist, experienced facilitator, and your guide to a creative experience that’s all about fun, inspiration, and discovering what you’re capable of, even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before.

Originally from Wagga, I returned home after a decades-long corporate career that took me to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Singapore. Coming back to the Riverina gave me the opportunity to reconnect with myself and pursue what I truly love — painting.

I created these workshops for everyone, regardless of experience or artistic ability. Whether you come with friends, work colleagues, family members, or simply arrive on your own, my goal is for you to enjoy a relaxed, welcoming experience where you can switch off from the demands of everyday life, have a few laughs, and let your creativity take the lead.

There’s no pressure to be perfect here. These workshops are about enjoying the process, trying something new, and leaving with not only a piece of artwork you’re proud of, but also memories of a wonderful experience shared with others.

What to Expect From a
Paint and Sip with Tanya Workshop

My workshops are designed to be relaxed, welcoming and creatively inspiring — whether you’ve painted before or not.

Rather than a strict step-by-step “copy exactly” format, I guide you through each stage of the painting while encouraging you to make it your own.

You’ll have access to example stages throughout the session, so if you prefer a more structured approach, you can follow along easily. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you’re free to explore your own colours, style and ideas.

I’ll be there to support you every step of the way — offering individual guidance, tips and encouragement — so you’ll never feel stuck or unsure.

Most importantly, there’s no pressure to be perfect. These workshops are about relaxing, having fun, and creating something you’re proud of in your own unique way.

No experience needed — just bring yourself (and maybe a friend or two!)
